Update:  As I'm sure is obvious to any that were following my motocross photography, I have not been photographing motocross events this Summer. I do not want to infringe upon the established photographer and thus far, I have not been able to make an arrangement that would make it cost effective for me to participate.  You may upon occasion see me at an MX event in the future but in the mean-time I just wanted to say  Thank You! to those who have shown an interest.
If you are looking for a photographer away from the track, please feel free to contact me.  I am available for portraits, events, and aerial (drone) photography. You can reach me by sending a message by clicking here --->
Contact Page <--- or by emailing me directly at [email protected]

I hope you are enjoying your Summer!

A brief update. I was not at Middleborough on May 5th and 6th.  I still need to work out details of how to fit into the world of local motocross photography before I make photographs available for purchase.
I am creating a mailing list of those that have shown an interest in my MX photos.  In the near future I will use that to send any updates as things progress.  If you don't want to be on the list...just reply to the email with a brief message asking me to remove you from the list.  Putting the word "UNSUBSCRIBE" in the body of the message is sufficient.  If you do want to be on the list,
send me a message with your name and email address.

To those that I spoke to about getting photos while I was at the track, please understand that I want to make sure I don't burn any bridges at Capeway Rovers. If you have any questions please send me an email. Thanks for your patience.

  Take care for now

April 30, 2018
Some of you may have seen me taking photos at the Capeway Rovers Motocross track on April 22nd and 29th.  Here's the story that led up to this.

I used to be involved in motocross racing back in the 1980's.  Fast forward to 2018 and via social media...I saw that a friend from way back then was going to be at the track. So I packed up my camera with the intent of getting a few photographs of my friends son.  I asked track staff if it would be possible to get out into the mechanic's area to get closer to the action.  The owners graciously allowed me access.  Well people saw me taking photos and started asking me if I would get photographs of their favorite riders. Ever the entrepreneur... I gave out some of my business cards and said yes.  Without putting thought into it, I put the photos up on my website in hopes that people would be interested in purchasing prints.

I went to the track again today (April 29) and went to talk to the track management to find out what it would involve to have access to the infield to take photos again.  The issue of taking photos to sell vs just taking photos for personal use came up.  Until I address this matter, I will hold off on selling photos taken at the track.  I respect their rules and want to make sure I'm not going against any of their guidelines.

For now, I will post the photographs on my website so those interested can view them but they will not be available to purchase.  I retain all copyrights to the photos and they should not be used in any way without my permission. Please do not download or screenshot the photos.
